User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars They’re a HIT!
These are one of several pair I purchased for my son for Christmas and he LOVES them. I’ll be getting more next year. Soft, easy to care for, comfortable, he says, and his beloved drawstring completes it.

4 Stars Thin Material, not 100% cotton
The material was very thin, which is good for sleeping in, but not fit to wear outside or even lounge around in. I got a medium (usually wear 31-32) and the waist was perfect but it was way too long (I’m 5 10″). The comfortsoft waist band is quite nice and the material is very soft. However, I’m not sure how the shape will hold up; looks flimsy and might look disfigured after a few washes.

Caution: This was not 100% cotton as the product description says. Its 60% cotton, 40% polyester. This might apply only to the grey heather color which I got, but not sure. You might want to check with Hanes.

4 Stars Very good and comfy
These are very good pants to walk around the house and chill, sleep with them, very soft, kinda thin but its ok cuz of the caribbean heat. The only complain i have is that the service was very slow.

Exciting Small Group Cuba Tours

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

Cuba is one of the undiscovered travel destinations for many American tourists. For years there have been tight restrictions on travel to Cuba. These restrictions were just recently lifted, making it possible for tourists from the United States to take small group Cuba holidays.

These special tours are a great way to see Cuba as it really is. There is free time scheduled for the traveler to see things and go places that they are interested in. There are, also, optional activities at local prices that the tour guide can schedule for those who want to participate.

The reason many people return from tours disillusioned is because they did not have an opportunity to interact with the local people. In this sense, small group Cuba tours is uniquely different. You will actually be staying in local homes with Cuban families as your host.

These tours are not luxurious, but everything is clean and comfortable. You won’t just have the opportunity to meet local Cubans, you will have the opportunity to really get to know your tour companions since the groups are small.

Just to give you an idea of what a small group tour is like, let’s take a look at the Western Cuba Tour. It lasts for 8 days, and it can accommodate between two and twelve tourists. The average size of the tour group is seven. The first day you will arrive in Havana where the time is yours to spend as you want.

You will visit two other places on this tour where you will have the opportunity to hike, explore caves, go bicycling, snorkel off one of Cuba’s best beaches and go horseback riding. You will be able to see Cuban wildlife as you travel. Every night will be spent in the home of a Cuban family. Day eight is similar to the first day. You may leave Cuba at whatever time is convenient for you.

Small group Cuba tours are relaxing and informal. Be ready to make some lifelong friends during the eight days you spend together. These tours are a unique way to see life in Cuba as it really is.

Accommodation In Havana

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

If you are planning on going to Havana then finding a great deal on hotels might be a lot easier than you think. Havana hotels are actually less expensive than most American hotels and many offer the same features as you would find at home.

No matter if you want to sit on the beach, take in the sights, or live it up with the night live, you can find a hotel in just the perfect location. If your interests are varied than some places may offer transportation into the city for a minimal fee.

Pizza seems to be a popular choice for a lot of tourists. Many reviews claim the food tends to be bland and lacking in spice. Of course personal tastes play a big role and you may find the food to be to your liking. At least try out the food and see for yourself rather than dismissing it off hand.

Some of the hotels are a bit run down. If you are looking for cheap, then expect to get what you pay for. You best option may be to read reviews from people who have stayed at each hotel and can give you specifics. Be sure to book ahead and ask questions.

The best way to find accommodation that you can be happy with is to read reviews from others who have stayed in the specific hotel you are looking to stay at. Also ask questions and make sure the hotel had the amenities you want. Using a travel agent always has its benefits as well.

A vacation to Havana might be a wonderful get away with proper planning and research. If you are looking into booking Havana hotels then be sure to know what you are getting so you won’t be disappointed when you get there. Book you holiday today and have fun.
