Finding the Fun in San Diego
San Diego is one of many popular tourist destinations, partly due to the fact that the weather tends to be mild most of the year, making it easy to enjoy the outdoors. It makes a great destination for those who live in the north and want to get away from the winter weather.
The location of San Diego puts it out of the path of most weather disasters, such as hurricanes and tornadoes, as well as outside the area where there is high humidity and a lot of seasonal rain. Animals can also be viewed in more of a safari setting at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, which is affiliated with the zoo.
For people who prefer visiting museums and gardens, or for a nice restaurant where you can get lunch. you can check out the famous Balboa Park neighborhood.
Kids will enjoy the different amusement parks available, such as Legoland and Belmont Park.
There are world class dining options located throughout the city, including the popular Gaslamp District, and Old Town, where you can get an idea of how the city looked in years past.
Sports enthusiasts can check out a Chargers football game or a Padres baseball game. There are also numerous options for golfing and other outdoor sports you might want to take part in.
